Waste Management Reports Flat First Quarter

Houston – Waste Management has reported $150 million in income for the first quarter of 2005, slightly down from $152 million for the same quarter last year. The firm reported $3.04 billion in operating revenue for the first quarter, up 5 percent from $2.9 billion for first-quarter 2004. Looking forward, the company is forecasting total 2005 revenue to reach about $13 billion.
