Houston-based WCA Waste Corp. announced today the completion of two acquisitions. The company purchased the assets of Sarasota, Fla.-based Andy’s Hauling. The operation’s collections will be internalized in the company’s Arcadia, Fla., landfill.

In a separate transaction, WCA Waste acquired certain assets of Pendergrass Refuse, including three rear-load trucks. The waste collected from those operations will be sent to the company’s Black Oak Landfill near Springfield, Mo.

Company Chairman Tom Fatjo says that WCA Waste has more than doubled in size during the last 16 months. With these two acquisitions, the company estimates that it has $129 million in annualized revenue.
