WM Landfills Win Conservation Awards

Silver Springs, Md. –- The Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) has presented six Waste Management Inc. (WM) landfills with wildlife habitat conservation awards at a recent symposium. WM sites that were honored are located in California, Pennsylvania, Oregon and Florida. Each landfill has actively implemented saving habitat on their site. For more information about WHC, visit
