SWANA’s O’Brien to Appear on 20/20

Silver Spring, Md. -- The Solid Waste Association of North America’s Director of Applied Research, Jeremy O’Brien, will represent the waste industry on the ABC television show 20/20. The episode is entitled "Lies, Myths and Downright Stupidity: It turns out that a lot of what you think is true is just downright wrong." O'Brien will discuss several myths related to the industry, including whether the nation will drown in its own trash.

The show will air on Friday, January 23. Check local listings for show times and channel.
