EPA Launches Web Tool for Auto Recyclers

Washington, D.C. -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has introduced a Web-based compliance assistance center to help automotive recyclers comply with federal and state environmental regulations. The Environmental Compliance for Automotive Recyclers (ECAR center) is a cooperative effort between Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA), Fairfax, Va., and the National Center for Manufacturing Science, Ann Arbor, Mich., and is funded by the EPA.
