Caterpillar Sales Up

Peoria, Ill. -- Caterpillar Inc. has announced its 2003 sales aof $22.76 billion and revenues of $1.1 billion, or $3.13 per share profit. The company says the increase was due to higher machinery and engines volume and a favorable currency impact on sales.
