California Senate Revisits Bottle Bill

Sacramento -- The California Senate Natural Resources Committee has passed a bill that will increase the redemption rate of beverage containers in California from 2.5 cents to 5 cents for containers weighing less than 24 ounces and from 5 cents to 10 cents for containers weighing more than 24 ounces.
