Atlanta -- The Rechargeable Battery Corp. (RBRC) has launched a battery-recycling program in Staples office supply stores throughout the United States. Beginning April 27, RBRC drop-off boxes for rechargeable batteries will be placed at the customer service counters. Batteries may come from cellular and cordless phones, portable CD and DVD players, two-way radios, remote control toys and cordless power tools. Staples has approximately 1,100 stores nationwide. RBRC already has more than 30,000 battery drop-off sites in the United States.
