Waste Management Revenues Increase 6 Percent

Houston -- Waste Management Inc. has announced revenues for its first quarter in 2004 increased 6 percent to $2.9 billion, up from $2.73 billion for the same period in 2003. Net income for 2004 was listed at $152 million, an increase from $61 million in the first quarter 2003. According to CEO David P. Steiner, "free cash flow is still anticipated to be in the range of $900 million to $1 billion."
