Waste Pro Buys Two Hybrid Trucks

Waste Pro, Longwood, Fla., has purchased two International DuraStar Hybrid chassis, which will be used as recycling trucks.

“This purchase signifies the commitment by Waste Pro to become the leader in the waste industry in performing their trucking operations with equipment that provide a positive impact on our environment and simultaneously reduce the use of imported fossil fuels,” said Keith Banasiak, regional vice president of Waste Pro, in a press release. “These hybrid trucks mark the beginning of a trend that will, undoubtedly, lead to the extensive use of hybrids in Waste Pro’s business.”
