Waste Management partners with Keep America Beautiful

Waste Management announced that it is working with Keep America Beautiful (KAB) to improve the environment through sustainable, local solutions. According to a KAB press release, Waste Management’s 2006 commitment involves 35 grants to organizations within KAB’s national network of stewardship, community outreach and educational projects. Among the planned efforts are programs that tackle electronics recycling, hands-on environmental education, media campaigns, tree plantings, beautification efforts and recycling events.
