Waste Management To Sell Landfill To BFI Canada

Houston — Waste Management of Canada Corporation, a subsidiary of Waste Management Inc., Houston, has agreed to sell its Ridge Landfill near Chatham, Ontario, Canada, to BFI Canada for approximately $90 million (U.S.) The transaction is expected to close in January 2005.
