Waste Management Posts Fourth-Quarter Earnings

Houston — Waste Management Inc., Houston, a net income of $269 million on revenues of $3.21 billion during fourth-quarter 2004. During the same period in 2003, the firm reported $183 million in net income on revenues of $2.99 billion.

For 2004, Waste Management posted a net income of $939 million on $12.5 billion in revenues, up from a net income of $630 million on $11.6 billion in revenues in 2003.
