SWANA Joins Renewable Energy Business Alliance

Silver Spring, Md. — The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) has joined with representatives of other renewable energy industries to lobby for an extension and increase of tax credits for all renewable energy sources, including landfill gas and waste-to-energy projects. Among the other organizations in the alliance are the American Wind Energy Association, Integrated Waste Services Association, American Public Power Association and the USA Biomass Power Producers Alliance.
