Naperville, Ill., May Charge To Dispose Of Large Appliances
Naperville, Ill. — The Naperville, Ill., City Council is expected to vote today on a measure that would charge residents $15 to dispose of large household appliances, according to a report in the Daily Herald. According to the newspaper, the city’s sanitation workers currently collected "white goods" — such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, water heaters, air conditioners and stoves — for free.
