The Washington-based Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) has sold out the exhibit space for its 2008 convention and exposition, which will be held at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, April 6-10.

“This is the earliest complete sell-out ISRI has ever had,” said Chuck Carr, vice president of member services for ISRI, in a press release. “The overwhelming response by exhibitors to participate at this year’s show demonstrates that this is the industry’s must-do event of the year.”

The 2008 show floor is 20 percent larger than the previous year, with a record 204 exhibitors set to take the floor. Sales for exhibition space for the 2009 convention, which will be held at the same location in Las Vegas, begin in March.
