Houston Launches "Stop Trashing Houston" Campaign
Houston, Texas — The city of Houston has launched a "Stop Trashing Houston" campaign to crack down on people who "illegally dump trash or prematurely set out heavy trash," according to The Houston Chronicle. Violators face stiffer fines than before, and the city has placed a network of surveillance cameras around known dumping sites, the paper says.
