The Washington-based Environmental Industry Associations (EIA) and Penton Media have agreed to renew their 1999 partnership for five years. Penton will continue to produce, market and manage WasteExpo, and EIA will remain responsible for the educational sessions at WasteExpo.

“Our relationship with Penton during the last 10 years always has exceeded our expectations and benefited our members, exhibitors and the entire industry,” said Bruce Parker, president and CEO of EIA, in a press release.

Penton Media owns Waste Age.

“Through our continued alliance, WasteExpo, Waste Age and the EIA are well positioned to serve the needs of our shared customers, members and the industry at large,” said Rita Ugianskis, Penton group-show director for WasteExpo, in a press release. “This relationship leverages our respective competencies to benefit our clients.”
