The California Air Resources Board (ARB) has fined Crown Disposal Company, Sun Valley, Calif., more than $88,000 for two-year failure to comply with state emissions requirements for its diesel fleet of trucks.

"Compliance with California clean air laws is not an option - it is a requirement," said Mary Nichols, ARB chairman, in a press release. "Our enforcement teams are on the lookout for business owners who think otherwise."
