Covanta Reports Third Quarter Increases

Covanta Holding Corp., Fairfield, N.J., has reported third quarter revenues of $352.4 million, a $41.3 million increase from $311.1 million in third-quarter 2006. The net income for the quarter also increased to $38.4 million from $31.3 million in the same period last year.

For the year, Covanta reported revenues of $1.04 billion and a net income of $58.2 million, compared to $950.6 million in revenues and a net income of $98.3 million in the first three quarters of 2006.
