Casella Waste Systems Receives Expansion Permit for N.Y. Landfill

Casella Waste Systems, Inc., Rutland, Vt., has received an expansion permit for its Hakes construction and demolition landfill in Campbell, N.Y. The permit increases the annual capacity from 306,000 tons to 457,164 tons.

“We are pleased with the successful effort to expand the annual capacity at Hakes, thereby adding to the value of this investment,” said John Casella, CEO of Casella, in a press release.
