Casella Waste Names New Board Member

Casella Waste Systems, Rutland, Va., has named Michael Burke to its board of directors. Burke previously was the executive vice president and chief financial officer for Intermagnetics General Corporation.

"Michael is a terrific addition to our board of directors," said John W. Casella, chairman and chief executive officer of Casella Waste, in a press release. "His background as the chief financial officer of a successful public company and before that as a senior investment banker with significant Wall Street experience will bring valuable perspective as we continue our efforts to enhance shareholder value."
