The Washington-based American Beverage Association (ABA) has partnered with The Climate Group, London, to increase recycling to reduce climate change and protect the environment. The ABA will closely work with the group’s newly established office in Washington and is the founding member of the group’s Recycle Together Initiative.

"We're proud of this new partnership with The Climate Group,” said Susan Neely, president and CEO of the ABA, in a press release. “Through Recycle Together we hope to see more beverage containers recycled, and we also want to encourage more businesses and industries to partner with us to improve recycling across the country and reduce the impact on the environment."

The ABA represents non-alcoholic beverage manufacturers and includes companies such as the Coca-Cola Co., Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Nestle Waters North America and Pepsi-Cola North America.
