Allied Waste Reports Third-Quarter Earnings

Phoenix-based Allied Waste has announced third quarter 2007 revenues of $1.56 billion, an increase from $1.53 billion in the same quarter in 2006. The company also reported a net income of $27.2 million, a decrease from $72.3 million for the same quarter last year.

For the year, the company reported revenues of $4.59 billion, compared to $4.44 billion in the same period of 2006. It also reported a net income of $158.3 million, an increase from $151.1 million for the first nine months of 2006.
