Advanced Disposal Announces Orange County, Fla., Contract

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Advanced Disposal Services has announced a contract to service the unincorporated area of Orange County, Fla. Service began on Jan 1.

“We are pleased the county chose Advanced Disposal as one of the new solid waste services provider for unincorporated Orange County,” said Mary O’Brien, chief marketing officer of Advanced Disposal, in a press release. “We are very excited about starting up operations in the Central Florida marketplace, and are committed to providing our residents a high-quality solid waste and recycling collection program.”

The company expects to provide an annual economic stimulus of $1.7 million to the local area due to the 57 jobs it will create.
