RFP—Solid Waste Transfer Station Operation, Diversion and Disposal, Napa-Vallejo Waste Management Authority, Napa Valley, California
The Napa-Vallejo Waste Management Authority in Napa Valley, California is soliciting proposals from qualified companies for Operation of the Devlin Road Transfer Station (DRTS) and Provision of Landfill Disposal Capacity. The Request for Proposals (RFP) allows proposers the opportunity to respond to the Transfer Station Operations component separately from Disposal Capacity or combine both services into one response. Transfer Station Operations includes, transfer, transport and diversion from landfill; Disposal Capacity includes provision of required landfill space for residue from transfer operations. The DRTS accepted approximately 261,000 tons of materials and handled approximately 193,000 vehicles in FY 2005/06. A mandatory pre-proposal conference and tour is scheduled for October 17, 2006. Proposals are due by November 21, 2006.
