RFP -- Solid Waste Technical Specialist -- Guam
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Guam Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Management Division (SWMD) is aggressively seeking to engage the services of a Solid Waste Technical Specialist and a Chief Financial Officer to provide professional and technical services in the operations and construction closure of the Ordot Dump, constructing a new sanitary landfill and in financial and procurement related activities.
A pre-proposal conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 11, 2006 at the Department of Public Works Tumon, Guam Director’s Conference room. All interested Off-island firms will be afforded the opportunity to participate in the RFP and pre-proposal conference scheduled above.
All interested parties may pick up bid documents at the DPW Solid Waste Management Division’s Office, second floor, in upper Tumon, beginning 8:30 a.m. October 3, 2006. Proposals must be submitted in one original and six copies, and labeled separately for Solid Waste Management Specialist and Chief Financial Officer for each respective service (s) to be provided.
A non-refundable amount of $25.00 is required as payment for the Request for Proposal (RFP) documents. A receipt for the payment should be obtained the from the Treasurer of Guam Cashier at the One Stop Center located within Building A DPW compound before acquiring the document. Request for Proposal (RFP) packages may be obtained at the DPW’s Solid Waste Management Office, 542 North Marine Corps Drive, Tamuning Guam 96931 from Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Submission of proposals must be turned in no later than 4:30 p.m. October 18, 2006. Late proposals will not be accepted after this date.
The Department of Public Works informs all parties that it reserves the right to reject any and all proposals it determines to be in the best interest of the government.
