Landfill Manager
Mt.Sterling, Ky.
This position is responsible for supervising,training and evaluation of the landfill; ensures the landfill meets requirements for EPA inspections; establishes production and quality control standards; and reviews production and operating reports.
Qualified candidates must have previous management and heavy equipment operation experience; familiarity with EPA requirements regarding landfills; Kentucky EPA certification; and P& L experience.Also necessary are a valid state driver’s license,excellent communication skills, excellent supervisory skills,and ability to read and understand landfill set grades using a surveyor’s instrument. A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is preferred.
