LANDFILL MANAGER
The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio is a leader in the industry with cutting edge programs and partnerships. SWACO owns and operates a 3,300 tons per day landfill and is one of 52 solid waste districts operating in the State of Ohio. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our high power team to fill the position of the Landfill Manager. This person must have at least 7 years of experience in operating a landfill of similar size and in a variety of climate conditions. An emphasis on previous business management and heavy equipment operations experience is strongly preferred. A college degree is also preferred. In addition this candidate must have a SWANA MOLO certification (Manager of Landfill Operations) or equivalent. Must be eligible to perform functions under the Ohio Revised Code requirements for key employees and applicable Ohio EPA regulations. We offer a competitive wage, benefits and retirement package.
