Mack Trucks, Lehigh Valley, Pa., has announced a restructuring plan that includes moving its corporate headquarters along with its product development and purchasing operations to Greensboro, N.C.

“Through hard work and substantial investment over the last seven years, Mack now has a completely revitalized vehicle line-up, an entirely new engine range, and a dealer network that's stronger than ever,” said Dennis Slagle, president and CEO of Mack, in a press release.

Additionally, the company will move its highway-vehicle assembly operations to facilities in Macungie, Pa., where its construction and refuse vehicles are assembled. Facilities in Baltimore, Chicago, Jacksonville, Fla., and Memphis, Tenn., will be downsized. Warehouses in Columbus, Ohio, and Dallas will be closed, and a new Volvo Group North America warehouse will be built in a location to be determined.
