Organizations create initiative to address e-waste management
The National Center for Electronics Recycling (NCER), Davisville, W. Va., and the Arlington, Va.-based Consumer Electronics Association have formed a new initiative to help foster a uniform e-waste recycling plan across the country. The initiative, which is known as the National Electronics Recycling Infrastructure Clearinghouse, will enable the public and private sector to develop strategies for the handling of e-waste, according to the organization.
